Skip to now, I was feeling sick of them so I picked up some little burlap shades and gave the bases a new color. I think it was a good freshen up for them to get just a little more mileage out of them!

They Call Me ...........The Queen Of Spray Paint!!
Just a little quickie change in the family room. Last summer I got these two free little lamps while at the local baseball game, they give away all kinds of things! But when I opened the boxes the bases were cracked. I was so disappointed because in this house full of boys I have a ton of lamps that used to be pairs but one was broken by a flying ball, sock or child. Plenty with glue lines around them too but I decided to try and fix them anyway, after all they were free. But once I glued them the break was super obvious so I spray painted them gold last fall and kept the cream square shades they came with.

Very pretty. Love that green color in the background too. I'm thinking I should have went with that color of green in my laundry room.
